Being a business start up is very entrepreneurial. You start with a great idea and then you need to work with people and those people need to be turned into paying clients.
Having a skill or an expertise doesn’t necessarily mean you can sell it or yourself confidently to others. It certainly wasn’t easy for me when I first started freelancing.
I found it difficult to market myself, introduce additional services, talk money and ask for the business. I lacked confidence in myself, I was convinced that clients wouldn’t like what I have to offer.
However I was determined to be successful, which meant I needed to be more confident, face my fears, be more resilient and believe in myself.
